Mountains, viewpoints and nature in Andorra

Andorra has much more to offer than ski resorts and shopping. If you stay in  Pas de la Casa , you can also take advantage of your stay to explore lakes, viewpoints, valleys, mountain trails, charming villages, and outdoor activities that vary greatly depending on the time of year.

Some plans only make sense when the snow melts, like the  Tibetan Bridge in Canillo , the  Roc del Quer , the  Tristaina Solar Viewpoint  , or many hiking trails to high mountain lakes. And others are better suited to winter, when the landscape transforms completely and the mountains offer a different experience.

Winter: snow, scenery and off-piste plans

When winter arrives, Andorra isn’t just about skiing. There are other ways to enjoy the snow and the surroundings, especially if you fancy combining the slopes with different activities or if you’re traveling with people who don’t ski every day.

Among the most well-known options are:

  • mushing
  • snowmobiles
  • rackets
  • igloos
  • night track
  • Scenic outings and snow activities for families or groups

Added to this is a very special part of the Andorran winter: the snow-covered villages, the Romanesque churches, the mountain huts and that feeling of calm that appears when you leave the ski slopes and enter a quieter Andorra.

Viewpoints and great icons of the country

There are places that many travelers want to see at least once because they are part of the most recognizable image of Andorra.

Roc del Quer

In  Canillo , it’s one of the most famous viewpoints in the country. The suspended walkway and the open view of the valley have made it one of the most popular stops.
